The Bute Football Club - The Roosters
Bute – Our Home Town
The Bute Football Club was formed in March 1892, playing it’s first game that season against Snowtown. 120 years later the small rural community is proud to be able to field 2 senior teams and the colts combining playing half the season with Paskeville and half at Bute. Bute is the home of the ‘Roosters’ on Yorke Peninsula, we play 8 home games a year in our modern facilities, providing a good family day out with netball included.
It’s a great, great club
And the club we love
We’re the good ol’ Red and Whites
The mighty roosters we’re called,
All for one, one for all
If we’re down we fight, fight, fight.
We like to play as a team
And play it clean
We’re never out of sight,
Be it wet, be it dry
We try, try, try,
We’re the good ol’ red and whites
WE’RE THE GOOD OL’ RED AND WHITES
